Gregg Richards, LPCC-S
Gregg Richards is a licensed Clinical Counselor with over thirty years’ experience. Mr. Richards earned a Master’s in Social Agency Counseling in 1976 and attended the University of Arkansas and the Ohio State University where he completed extensive course work toward a Ph.D. in Psychology (degree not completed). He has worked in private practice settings as well as several social service agencies in the capacity of counselor and consultant.
Originally trained as a traditional counselor, Mr. Richards has taken additional course work as well as continuing education courses to be competent in many Cognitive Behavioral approaches and techniques. He understands the needs of individuals living with depression and anxiety and is prepared to assist them on the road to a more productive, satisfactory life.
He joined the staff of The Center for Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy (CCBT) in May of 2019 on a part time basis while maintaining his own private practice in Marion. As CCBT-Marion merges with Mr. Richards’ existing practice, Mr. Richards will continue to serve the Morrow County community.
Mr. Richards and his wife, Nancy, have lived in Marion for almost three decades. Gregg and Nancy have a daughter, Kate, attending River Valley High School and an adult son, Dylan, who lives and works in Delaware.
